Series History
So far this season, the Thunder is 1-0 against the Hawks (1-0 at home, 0-0 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will Cover (-12.5)
OKC has let lesser opponents play far too close lately but after the Thunder’s defense got off to a terrible start against the Nets on Wednesday, they managed to lock in late and turn the game around. The Hawks are a bit of a one-man show on offense right now, and they will go as far as Trae Young can take them. I think the Thunder’s defense looks more prominent than it has in a while, so I’m picking them to cover the spread late.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (243)
Atlanta isn’t known for their defense, but Dyson Daniels has emerged as one of the top perimeter defenders in the league. I think the Thunder wins handily, but I don’t expect some great shootout. I’m taking the under on the point total.
