Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #69 Preview: Philadelphia 76ers

The Oklahoma City Thunder played 14 games in 24 games before getting the last two days off, and it’s fair to say they have their fair share of bumps and bruises. The Thunder hosts the depleted Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night, so OKC is taking the opportunity for some guys to get some rest.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has looked pretty tired over the last couple of games, so he’s just getting the night off, but a lot of other guys are legitimately dealing with some injuries. Jalen Williams is still dealing with a hip injury after a tough fall over a week ago against the Denver Nuggets, Luguentz Dort still has hip soreness after exiting the game early against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night, and Isaiah Hartenstein and Cason Wallace are questionable to play as they deal with some minor ailments.

As beat up as OKC may seem right now, they’re miles ahead of the Philadelphia 76ers. Philly’s injury report is basically just a copy of their roster as they have 4 guys already ruled out for the season and another 6 who are already ruled out for tonight’s game. The Sixers are technically just 6 games out of the final play-in spot in the East, but they seemingly gave up on their season a while ago, so I’m not even sure how much fight they will put up tonight despite playing Chet Holmgren and the bench mob.
