Series History
OKC is tied with Indiana 3-3 in the NBA Finals (2-1 at home, 1-2 on the road). The Thunder went 2-0 against the Pacers in the regular season (1-0 at home, 1-0 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will Cover (-7.5)
The unexpected happened in Game 6 when not only did Indiana manage to force a Game 7, but they dominated the Thunder. Now, the final matchup to decide the NBA Champion is expected to be a close one. I think the unexpected happens again, and we see OKC return to their dominant play, winning this one by double digits and etching their names in history.
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (214.5)
The last team to hit 100 points in a Game 7 of the NBA Finals was when both the Pistons and the Lakers did it in 1988. Since then, all 5 Game 7s have featured extremely low scoring by modern standards. I don’t think any of that matters, considering the nature of today’s game—especially when you look at these two teams—so I’m taking the over.
