Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (-8.5)
The Mavericks haven’t had the best start to the season, but this spread seems a little big for me. They picked up their first win yesterday against the Toronto Raptors, and while they are far from healthy, neither is OKC. I think this will probably be a little closer with the Mavs just barely covering the spread late.
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (226.5)
Oklahoma City has scored a lot of points through three games, although two of those have gone to double overtime; however, Dallas has been pretty bad defensively. This one is unlikely to go beyond 48 minutes, but I still think it hits the over, especially if Dallas can cover the spread. I’m taking the over.
