OKC feels like an unstoppable force. Even when it feels like an opposing team has a chance, the Thunder down the stretch is inevitable. The Mavericks, on the other hand, continue to improve as Anthony Davis stays healthy and Cooper Flagg settles into his role, but they’re still a struggling squad. Their 3-game win streak ends tonight, but I don’t think it will quite be a blowout as the spread suggests, so I’m taking Dallas to cover, even if it is on a couple of late baskets.

The Thunder handily defeated the Hawks in Atlanta on Saturday night to stay perfect, while the Mavs picked up their first win of the season last night at home against the Toronto Raptors.

Thunder Against the Spread | OKC Heavily Favored in Dallas
The Mavericks haven’t had the best start to the season, but this spread seems a little big for me. They picked up their first win yesterday against the Toronto Raptors, and while they are far from healthy, neither is OKC. I think this will probably be a little closer with the Mavs just barely covering the spread late, especially if Chet Holmgren is unable to go.
