Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (-15.5)
The Thunder look really good so far, and the Clippers look surprisingly not terrible. OKC is built for a championship, though, while LA is just hoping they don’t implode at some point this season. The Thunder could definitely win in a blowout, but I’m feeling a late cover by the Clippers in garbage time.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (236.5)
Darius Garland is the only potential big-time scorer for the Clippers, unless Brook Lopez decides to hit a billion threes. I think OKC shuts down LA’s offense, keeping the score on the lower side. If this turns into a big blowout, however, we could creep into over territory from the Thunder scoring too much. Since I think the score will be somewhere close to the spread, I’m taking the under.
