Another big lead in the first half on Monday led to another devastating meltdown against the Pelicans in New Orleans as the Thunder dropped two games below .500 for the second time this season. With Golden State on the deck, things could be better for Oklahoma City. However, here we sit 17 games into the season, and improvements look few and far between.
The Warriors started off the season with some minor issues, losing two of their first three games, but they are now tied with the Houston Rockets for the top record in the West. By all means, the Thunder has no chance of winning this matchup based on the play as of late, but as odd as it sounds, this game may be exactly what Oklahoma City needs to get back on track.
