The Oklahoma City Thunder put on a show in Tulsa on Tuesday night on their way to a 119-104 victory over the Dallas Mavericks, and now Chesapeake Energy Arena gets a look at the new version of the Thunder.
Tonight, the Thunder hosts R.J. Hampton and the New Zealand Breakers. The Breakers are a member of the National Basketball League (NBL), and they fell to the Memphis Grizzlies 108-94 on Tuesday.
As usual, don’t expect to learn too much from a preseason game, but it will be fun for OKC locals to get their first look at the new squad, especially some of the younger faces.

Players to Watch
Darius Bazley, PF, Thunder | The 19-year-old rookie put up a stat line of 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists in 21 minutes on Tuesday against the Mavs, and it’s pretty obvious that his potential is off the charts right now. His role on this team is undetermined at the moment, but I find it incredibly hard to believe that he won’t manage to work his way into some minutes as a role player once the regular season gets going.
R.J. Hampton, SG, Breakers | The 18-year-old opted to bypass college to play overseas, and he’s considered a top prospect for the 2020 NBA Draft. He very well could end up being a guy that the Thunder takes a closer look at, so who knows, maybe he’ll be in Oklahoma City next season.
