Here’s our best effort to decipher the Big 12 after Week 10. There is literally a change at each spot this week from last week.

Zack

1. Oklahoma | I get it. They lost a game they shouldn’t have. They’re still the best team in the conference.

2. Baylor | A week off+ a Texas loss = good news for the Bears.

3. Oklahoma State | Call me a homer, but I’m taking the Cowboys ahead of Kansas State here because of head-to-head.

4. Kansas State

5. TCU

6. Texas

7. Iowa State

8. Kansas

9. Texas Tech | If you lose to Kansas, you pay for it in the rankings.

10. West Virginia | A week off + a Kansas win = bad news for the Mountaineers.

Craig

1. Baylor | The Bears are the only undefeated team in the conference. How could they not be at the top of the rankings? Besides, they’ll play Oklahoma in a few weeks to settle it.

2.Oklahoma | The Sooners had a really bad week against the Wildcats. They will still be the favorites to win the conference, but they have lots of areas that got exposed last weekend.

3. Kansas State | The Wildcats have turned things around in the last couple of weeks! They’ll need a couple of teams to take some losses, but they could be in contention for the Big 12 Championship.

4. TCU

5. Iowa State

6. Texas

7. Oklahoma State

8. West Virginia

9. Kansas | It’s unbelievable, the Jayhawks are without a doubt NOT the worst team in the Big 12 for THIS week!

10. Texas Tech | The Red Raiders have suffered 5 losses in the last 6 weeks. Things aren’t going well in Lubbock right now.

Rich

1. Baylor | As the only undefeated team in conference play, the Bears have established themselves at the top of the power rankings this week. Of course, I don’t expect this to hold as the meat of the schedule is just head. Can Matt Rhule do the unexpected?

2. Oklahoma | After an embarrassing loss in Manhattan, the Sooners clearly have some work to do. The offense continues to do their part minus the turnovers. But a defense built upon getting off the field quickly must do just that in the future.

3. Kansas State | Pulling off what many thought was impossible, the Wildcats continue to cling to a shot at the Big 12 title.

4. Oklahoma State

5. Iowa State

6. TCU

7. Texas

8. West Virginia

9. Kansas | Securing their first conference win under Les Miles, I have to bump the Jayhawks up this week.

10. Texas Tech | A last second loss to Kansas pushes TTU to the bottom of the heap. It’s been a roller coaster type season for the Red Raiders.

Mark

1 Baylor | Baylor’s wins in Manhattan and Stillwater looks a lot more impressive after Saturday. They take on West Virginia on Thursday.

2 Oklahoma | The Sooners had a rough weekend in the little Apple losing 48-41. They still control their own destiny with a trip to Waco on November 16th.

3 Kansas State | The Wildcats got a huge win against OU improving to 5-2 and now travel to play a tough Kansas team.

4 Texas

5 Oklahoma State

6 Iowa State

7 TCU

8 Texas Tech

9 Kansas | This is the second impressive week in a row after beating Texas Tech 37-34.

10 West Virginia | Coming off a bye week, they now will travel to take on an undefeated Baylor team.

Matt

1. Baylor | By being off on a weekend where every favored team in the Big 12 lost the Bears ended up being the biggest winner in the conference.

2. Oklahoma | The Sooners found themselves in the exact same situation last season and came back to win the conference. There are a lot of folks banking on that happening again in 2019.

3. Kansas State | Remind me again how this team lost to Oklahoma State?

4. TCU

5. Texas

6. Oklahoma State

7. Iowa State

8. West Virginia

9. Kansas | We week after missing out on the opportunity for a massive upset in Austin the Jayhawks were able to send Texas Tech to the Big 12 basement.

10. Texas Tech | Remind me again out this team beat Oklahoma State?
