Sooners Make Final 4 For Nation’s Top Receiver

The wave of momentum for Oklahoma recruiting is officially underway now. On Friday the Sooners received a commitment from the top linebacker in the state of Texas and a 5-star receiver. Now they are in the final running for the top-ranked receiver in the 2021 recruiting class.

Steilacoom, Washington (Steilacoom High School) receiver Emeka Egbuka announced his Top 4 choices on Friday night, narrowing it down from 35 total scholarship offers, with the Sooners still in the mix.

247Sports has the 6-1/190 5-star receiver listed as the second overall prospect from the state of Washington and the top overall receiver in the class. In three seasons of high school ball he’s recorded 3,907 receiving yards and 61 touchdowns, capped by 1,607 yards and 25 touchdowns last season as a junior.

Egbuka still trending as a heavy lean towards Ohio State but the Sooners are starting to become a hot trend themselves with several 2021 recruits and shouldn’t be counted out by any stretch.
