Series History

The Thunder is 1-0 against the Hawks so far this season (1-0 at home, 0-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will Cover (-1)

This is a classic trap game for OKC. Heading out on the road for the second game of a back-to-back after defeating the NBA’s best record is a tall order, regardless of who the opponent is. Thankfully in this case, it’s against the Atlanta Hawks, who are not having such a great season. Losers of 4 of their last 5 at home, the Hawks are just 1-12 against the spread at home, while the Thunder has the best road record in the league and has gone 9-4-1 against the spread on the road. SEGABA or not, I’m taking OKC to cover.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (248.5)

Too many points. No way. Even the league’s worst defense against one of the NBA’s best offenses isn’t going to give up enough points to break almost 250. Or are they? No matter, I’m taking the under on the point total.
