Why the Thunder Will Cover (+11)
OKC has not been an underdog often this season, and not by more than 6.5 points. Missing your two best scorers while playing a healthy version of the NBA’s best record will do that, though. OKC is good enough to keep it to within single digits, but this one definitely could get out of hand. I’m taking the Thunder to cover, though.
Why the Game Will Hit the Over (229)
When two of the league’s top offenses play each other, you would expect a lot of points, but both teams are pretty good defensively as well. If Boston turns this into a blowout, then I could see it going over on the point total, but I expect some fight from the Thunder, so I’m taking the under.
