Why the Thunder Will Cover (-1.5)
With no Isaiah Hartenstein or Chet Holmgren, OKC might win one or two games against the Cavaliers if this were a 7-game series. Fortunately for the Thunder, this just a regular season game, which gives them a lot of options. Losing Hartenstein for at least a week sucks, but OKC still has the best player in the matchup, so I’m thinking the Thunder can strategize well enough to sneak past Cleveland for a win tonight.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (232.5)
Cleveland is going to score some easy ones in the paint. I can pretty much guarantee that. But with OKC being forced to play smaller ball, I think they’re going to be able to turn up the intensity on defense and force some tough shots outside of the paint. I would not be surprised if the point total was well below the expected the line, so I’m taking the under.
