Series History
OKC is 1-0 against Memphis so far this season (0-0 at home, 1-0 on the road).
Why the Thunder Will Cover (-15.5)
Both teams are missing a lot of key players, but OKC still has the reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. That alone should give Thunder fans confidence in the game, but with Chet Holmgren, Isaiah Hartenstein and Jaylin Williams all out, OKC is without any of their primary bigs. Jaren Jackson could be a problem for OKC, but the Thunder has fared well in recent history when going small. With the Thunder’s backcourt depth, I feel pretty good about OKC’s chances to speed the game up, forcing turnovers, and turning defense into offense.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (230.5)
The Grizzlies have six guys playing tonight who average double digits in scoring, but that changes when you’re playing the league’s best defense. OKC is especially frustrating for opposing teams when playing at the Paycom this season, so I don’t see this one going over the point total unless the Grizzlies manage to keep it close.
