Why the Thunder Will Cover (-5.5)
I’m thinking this spread is heavily dependent upon the Thunder’s injury report from yesterday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies. I fully anticipate at least a handful of OKC’s missing guys to be available, specifically Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein. After the way the last meeting between these two teams went, don’t be surprised if OKC comes out seeing red. I like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continuing his dominance, I like OKC reminding everyone how good they really are, and I like the Thunder to cover.
Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (234.5)
I know this is the second game of a back-to-back for the Thunder, PLUS they had to travel to San Antonio from OKC last night, but with as good as these two defenses are, I don’t see this one going anywhere near this point total. Give me the under.
