Why the Thunder Will Cover (+10.5)

The Pistons are one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now, and it probably helps that they’re healthy. The Thunder being an underdog for a third-straight game was not on my bingo card at any point this season, and while I’m not sure OKC can pull off a win in Detroit, I do think they end up covering the spread. This depleted version of the Thunder has played hard lately, and even though they’re missing a little extra tonight, I don’t think they’re going to let up, even if it is the second game of a back-to-back.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (220.5)

Once again, two of the top defenses in the league are going head-to-head, and that typically means a lower-scoring game. OKC needs to hit some shots to keep it close, but either way, I don’t see this one turning into a shootout, so I’m taking the under.
