Thunder Against the Spread | OKC a Double-Digit Favorite Over Pistons in Detroit

The Pistons have been playing much more competitive basketball lately, and even though it hasn’t equated to wins, it’s still something that should be mentioned. 12.5 points is a pretty big spread, especially for a road team, but the Thunder is simply one of the best teams in the league. Detroit lost to Washington yesterday afternoon by 14, and OKC is obviously significantly better than the Wizards, so I’m leaning towards the Thunder winning this one big, even if it is an afternoon tip-off.

Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #10 Preview: Detroit Pistons

Tonight the Thunder wraps up a short road trip in Michigan as they take on the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons have struggled through their first 10 games of the season, winning just 2. Second-year guard Cade Cunningham has been spectacular so far averaging 21.4 points, 6.3 assists, and 6.0 rebounds. Rookie Jaden Ivey has played fairly well, also, averaging 15.0 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists. OKC is going to have their hands full keeping up with these two young guards, but with the way Luguentz Dort and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander have been playing defense so far, I think the Thunder is up to the task.
