Alo & Parker Lead Sooners In WCWS Elimination Win Over Arizona State

Facing elimination for the first time during the post season, Oklahoma freshman Jocelyn Alo decided to take matters in her own hands. After seeing the Sooners strand four runners in the first two innings, Alo stepped to the plate and blasted her 29th home run of the season over the fence in right field.

With Florida State punching their ticket late Saturday night, the field of eight is officially set for Oklahoma City. Arizona State, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Oklahoma, Oregon, UCLA, and Washington will all make their way to ASA Hall of Fame Stadium for the Women’s College World Series.
