Oklahoma State Football | Jaylen Warren Racks Up Weekly Big 12 Awards
Oklahoma State’s 21-20 win over Boise State on Saturday night was a breakout game for Cowboy running back Jaylen Warren. After trailing 10-0 in the first quarter, the Utah State transfer broke loose for a 75-yard touchdown run to get the Cowboys on the scoreboard, and he finished the game with 32 carries for 218 yards and 2 touchdowns. His efforts did not go unnoticed, and as a result, he was selected as this week’s Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week as well as the Big 12’s Newcomer of the Week.

The last few seasons have been somewhat disappointing for Cowboy fans, depending upon which ones you ask, and while Oklahoma State football hasn’t exactly underperformed, they haven’t been a pleasant surprise either. The most recent win total predictions from Vegas have Oklahoma State at 7.5 wins, which is right on par with where they have been lately. Simply put, that’s just not going to cut it.
