Oklahoma quarterback Austin Kendall isn’t the only member of the team looking at potential options elsewhere. The Athletic reported Friday that three other players have joined Kendall in the transfer portal, a report that 247Sports eventually confirmed.

Oklahoma’s 2018 recruiting class ranked 9th nationally (Per 247Sports), which was the second highest ranking in the Big 12. Thirteen of OU’s twenty-two signees were ranked 4-stars or higher. More importantly, ten members of the class enrolled early and were on campus for spring ball.

The only thing that Oklahoma fans have seen from the offense since the arrival of Lincoln Riley is steady improvement. In 2015, Riley’s first year, the Sooners averaged 43.5 points per game. Over the course of the next two seasons Oklahoma’s offense would progress to where they led all Power 5 schools in points per game in 2017.
