National Publication Puts Oklahoma Back In College Football Playoffs For 2018

Another national publication has released their preseason college football predictions and this one is sure to make Oklahoma fans happy.

Bill Bender of the Sporting News released his predictions for every bowl game next season, and in doing so has placed Oklahoma back in the College Football Playoff. He has Oklahoma facing Alabama in the Capital One Orange Bowl with Clemson and Ohio State squaring off in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic.

Unfortunately he doesn’t have the Sooners advancing to the national championship game on January 7th, but at least he thinks Oklahoma has a chance.

Seven Big 12 Teams Making Bowl Appearances?

According to Bender TCU will be the runner up in the Big 12 again in 2018. He has the Horned Frogs playing against Georgia in the Allstate Sugar Bowl.

Also according to his predictions…

Kansas State will play Boston College in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.

Texas will play Oregon in the Valero Alamo Bowl.

West Virginia will play Notre Dame in the Camping World Bowl.

Oklahoma State will play Texas A&M in the Academy Sports + Outdoors Texas Bowl.

Iowa State will play Utah in the Cactus Bowl.
