The Oklahoma City Thunder rolled over the Memphis Grizzlies in Game 2 on Tuesday night to take a 2-0 lead with the series headed to Memphis for Games 3 and 4. MVP frontrunner Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continued his shooting struggles in Game 2, but he still managed to finish with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. Meanwhile, Jalen Williams continued his solid play with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists, and Chet Holmgren had an incredible game with 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 blocks.

After the Game 1 blowout, Memphis had much better play from Jaren Jackson Jr., who led the Grizzlies with 26 points, and Ja Morant added 23 points and 6 assists. They’re going to need some help, though, as the Memphis bench managed just 14 points.

Despite the two convincing wins in OKC, the Thunder needs to keep its foot on the gas by taking care of business on the road. OKC’s defense has been the fuel that has kept the offense going, but it would be nice if the Thunder could put together a great shooting night from downtown to match the intensity on the defensive end.
