Series History

OKC is 1-0 against Charlotte so far this season (0-0 at home, 1-0 on the road).

Why the Thunder Will NOT Cover (-15.5)

The Hornets are not great and have won just three of their last eight games, but they have played some pretty close games, with only one of those losses being a true blowout. OKC definitely can run Charlotte off the floor, but having to travel home for the second game of a back-to-back makes it a little more difficult. While I do think Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has a much better shooting night than he did in Phoenix last night, I think the Hornets just barely cover, probably down the stretch.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (234.5)

Even if the Thunder ends up covering the spread, Charlotte is going to struggle to score as long as OKC keeps playing defense like they can. It wouldn’t shock me to see the Hornets held to below 100 points, even though that is unlikely. While the Thunder is bound to perform better than they did against the Suns yesterday, there is still plenty of difficulty involved when having to travel for a SEGABABA, so I’m taking the under on this one with some pretty high confidence.
