Oklahoma City Thunder | Game #55 Preview: Phoenix Suns

The Oklahoma City Thunder avoided a third consecutive loss on Monday as Jalen Williams led them to a 119-110 victory over the Lakers in Los Angeles. Now the Thunder plays the first game of a back-to-back, taking on the Suns in Phoenix.

The Suns are coming off a 120-111 win last night against the Dallas Mavericks, but despite playing 8 of their last 9 games at home, they gone just 4-4 in those home games. At 32-22 on the season, Phoenix sits 7th in the Western Conference with one of the league’s toughest remaining schedules.

OKC continues to play without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but the Thunder has capable talent in Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren to fill in during his absence, alongside a lot of depth that is just waiting to pick up wherever necessary. It would be nice if the Thunder could get a win tonight and then head home tomorrow to host the Milwaukee Bucks ahead of the NBA All-Star Break.
