Why the Thunder Will Cover (-11.5)

Cade Cunningham remains out with a collapsed left lung, and the Pistons are opting to rest Jalen Duren, Tobias Harris, and Duncan Robinson for injury management. OKC is resting Isaiah Hartenstein and Jalen Williams for injury management as well, but the Thunder is the deeper squad, so they should be able to win. Doing it by double digits, however, might take some work, but I’m thinking it could be a similar cover to last night’s game against the New York Knicks by pushing over the spread late.

Why the Game Will NOT Hit the Over (218.5)

OKC has looked lazy on defense in the first half of the last couple of games, but they’ve turned it on late to win easily. It’d be nice if they just jumped on the Pistons early tonight, but even if it takes a little bit of the game to settle in, I don’t see this one going over the point total.
