Oklahoma State Football | Jaylen Warren Racks Up Weekly Big 12 Awards

Oklahoma State’s 21-20 win over Boise State on Saturday night was a breakout game for Cowboy running back Jaylen Warren. After trailing 10-0 in the first quarter, the Utah State transfer broke loose for a 75-yard touchdown run to get the Cowboys on the scoreboard, and he finished the game with 32 carries for 218 yards and 2 touchdowns. His efforts did not go unnoticed, and as a result, he was selected as this week’s Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week as well as the Big 12’s Newcomer of the Week.

Just 10 minutes into the game on Saturday, the Oklahoma State Cowboys trailed the Boise State Broncos 10-0, and it wasn’t looking good. The Broncos were playing on their signature blue turf, they had all the momentum in the stadium, and the Cowboys couldn’t get anything going. That all changed on the next possession, however.

The Oklahoma State Cowboys took an early 7-0 lead against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, and they looked read to make it a two-score lead before halftime. Tulsa had other plans, however, as Spencer Sanders threw a pick 6, and all off a sudden it was 7-7 at the break.
