The Oklahoma City Thunder were supposed to kickoff the 2020-21 NBA season on Wednesday on the road against the Houston Rockets, but, just like back in March, the game was postponed due to issues with COVID-19. Three days later, the Thunder finally gets to open up the season tonight as they take on the Charlotte Hornets on the road.
Tonight, the Thunder plays the Charlotte Hornets (13-20) on the road. The Hornets have lost 3 consecutive games, the Thunder is just 4-9 on the road. Tonight would be a great opportunity for OKC to start improving that road record, especially considering this is the first game of a stretch where the Thunder will 6 of 7 away from Chesapeake Energy Arena.
