For the first time in a long time Oklahoma will enter the 2019 softball season with a bunch of question marks. Gone are the aces in the circle, gone is the team captain, and shortstop, gone is one of the most reliable catchers in the nation. What remains is a drive to continue dominating the Big 12 and making regular appearances in Oklahoma City in late May, and those chances are far from gone.

Oklahoma Nearly Sweeps Big 12 Softball Awards

The Oklahoma Sooners had an unprecedented season in 2018 and in doing so earned a ton of recognition. Four days after completing a Bedlam sweep that allowed OU to finish conference play with a perfect 18-0 record, the Sooners filled four of the five spots for yearly conference awards and placed eight nominees on for all-conference.
