Rams Select Obo Okoronkwo In Fifth Round

A four-year player, and two-year starter, at Oklahoma, Obo amassed 164 tackles and 21 sacks for the Sooners. In 2017 he recorded career-highs with 76 tackles and 17.5 tackles for loss. As a result he was a Walter Camp First-Team All American, First-Team All Big 12, and was the co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.

Oklahoma Defense Dominates UTEP But Looming Injury Report Could Be Significant

It took Oklahoma’s defense just a little bit of time to settle in against UTEP on Saturday afternoon but once they did they dominated. The Miners scored on their opening possession, taking the ball 78 yards on eight plays. Walter Dawn’s 17-yard touchdown run was set up by a 29-yard scamper on the play before putting the sellout crowd at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on edge.
